Mark Henry Bond

Mark Henry Bond, 58, of Summit, passed away September 21, 2026 at SMRMC in McComb.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 5PM until 8PM and Monday 9AM until services in the chapel at 11AM.

Burial will follow at Navilla Cemetery with Dr. Woody Rimes and Rev. Mike Morris officiating. Pallbearers will be Cole Bond, Beau Bond, Josh Rimes, Justin Rimes, Paul Burges and Joey Taylor.

He was born June 25, 1968 in McComb to Frederick Martin Bond and Charlene Rimes Bond. Mark has been in the towing and recovery business for 30 plus years. He was currently partners in Bond / Fortenberry Towing. He loved camping and fishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mark never met a stranger and was always willing to give advice whether you needed it or not.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Gwen Warner Bond.

He is survived by his son Tanner Mark Bond; daughter Allison Faith Simmons; sons Corbin Smith (Leah); Jacob Smith (Madison); grandchildren Carter, Finnley, Magnolia, Gwendolyn Smith, and soon to arrive grandbaby number 5; sister Lora Vance (Richie); brother Mitchell Bond (Josie); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
